Bright and clean store with perfect produce. Their butcher section is above par quality meats! On sale meat items are less expensive than your average grocery stores, and so so much fresher and always juicy. They have a butcher service line ticket number system for fresh cut meats. For anything on display in the window they call that express service amd no ticket is required. If you get your ticket, you can wander around the store for the rest of your shopping needs while you wait for your number to be called. Service is fast, pleasant and polite. They always offer to cut bigger pieces into whatever size you want, even window items, with no hesitation, very accommodating. Their pita bread is always soft and fresh. I've never had a bad experience shopping here. 5 stars for sure! great value, quality and service!awe ce

For someone who lives in Middle East and Europe, this halal place ticks all the boxes for Canadian options for Muslims. Not just the variety of food and drinks, but also the take away kitchen. The whole plaza in general, gives plenty options for halal seekers. My wife loved the Apna Farm. Keep up the good work Apna Farm. Much appreciated.

Anna Farm in Mississauga is clean, well-organized, and easy to shop in. The layout makes it convenient to find items, and there is a good variety available across different sections. Everything was neatly arranged, which made the overall experience pleasant and efficient. A solid option for grocery shopping in the area. You get fresh fruits and vegetables. I also purchased meat from here.

There have been others that have completed far more robust reviews of Apna Farm at Ridgeway Plaza, I've been here several times over the years and witnessed many changes but the ethos of this place has always remained consistent, it is a community supermarket that is ingrained within its community and serves it well with nearly everything that it needs. If you want quality food and ingredients from all over the world, this is your place to go!

Apna Farm at Ridgeway Plaza is one of those neighbourhood grocery stores that quietly becomes more valuable the more you visit. It may not have the polished look of big chain supermarkets, but what it lacks in perfection, it makes up for with selection, convenience, and a genuinely welcoming atmosphere.

The variety at Apna Farm is impressive, especially considering its size. You’ll find a strong mix of fresh produce, South Asian and Middle Eastern staples, specialty spices, rice, lentils, fresh herbs, frozen items, snacks, breads, and everyday essentials. They carry many hard-to-find ingredients that major retailers simply don’t stock, which makes it an amazing go-to place for authentic cooking and weekly groceries. Prices are fair, often cheaper than chain stores, and they always seem to have new items coming in.

The produce section is solid overall — fresh, well-priced, and usually stocked with a wide range of vegetables used in different cuisines. You can easily do a full weekly shop here without feeling like you’re compromising on quality.

If there’s one area that could use improvement, it’s the organization and cleanliness. Apna Farm can feel a little messy from time to time. Some aisles get crowded with boxes, certain shelves could use a bit more tidying, and the layout isn’t always the easiest to navigate. It’s nothing that ruins the experience, but a bit more attention to neatness would make the store feel much more polished.

On the positive side, the customer service and overall vibe are great. The staff are friendly, helpful, and genuinely approachable. You get the feeling that they know their regulars, care about their customers, and put effort into bringing in the products people need. It has that warm, community-driven atmosphere that’s missing from most big grocery chains.

Parking at Ridgeway Plaza is easy, the store is accessible, and it’s perfect for quick drop-ins as well as full grocery runs. Whether you’re shopping for specific cultural ingredients or just topping up on your weekly basics, Apna Farm delivers a reliable and convenient experience.

Overall, Apna Farm is a strong neighbourhood grocery store—a little rough around the edges, but full of value. With a bit more tidiness, it could easily become a top local favourite. As it stands, it’s still a great spot and absolutely worth visiting regularly.

Apna Farm is a great spot for South Asian groceries! I keep coming back mainly for their quality meats—definitely one of the best meat sections in the GTA. The store carries about 80% of all South Asian grocery essentials, making it super convenient for regular shopping.

The only minor drawback is that the produce and freezer sections are a bit smaller in size, which slightly limits the overall variety. But considering the quality and selection they offer, it's still one of my top go-to places for desi groceries.
